About the Event

When: Saturday, August 14, 2021- Men and Women Doubles Sunday, August 15, 2021 - Mixed Doubles

Where: Towns County Pickleball Complex

Why: To have fun with your friends and enjoy competitive pickleball while raising money for court improvements. All proceeds are going to be used for Towns County Pickleball Court improvements.

Cost: $20 per event per person (cash or check) paid day of tournament at registration

Format: Round robin format with brackets of 8 teams (or less) by skill and age. Games are played to 11, win by 1. Medals given to top 3 teams in each bracket. Winners are determined by total wins and, if tie, by total points. Franklin X40 outdoor balls will be used. Tournament limited to 24 teams each day in each of the following skill levels: 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0.

Preregistration: Please preregister your team for each event in advance of the tournament at georgiamountainpickleball.com website to reserve your spot in the tournament. Only one event per person per day. You will need to register as a team by providing player names, ages and skill level for each event. Please cancel your preregistration if you can't make it.

Weather: The tournament may be cancelled in advance if the weather forecast shows likely rain. If the tournament is cancelled, we will attempt to contact you by ema ii or post the cancellation on the website. If the tournament starts and weather causes a delay, we will attempt to finish the events started. There will be no refunds for events started.
